I recently hung up my fabulous high heels (only for a couple of hours to be fair as I couldn’t cope any longer!) to don a sensible pair of trainers and complete a 50 mile charity bike ride for a great charity called Claires House. Claires House is a hospice that helps seriously and terminally ill children. Having never managed 50 miles before or cycled through the Mersey Tunnel (what an experience that was) I was a little anxious to say the least! However after completing it in a respectable time and having enough energy to cycle another five miles home I have signed up to a 75 mile cycle for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity on 1st September 2019. I better get those sensible trainers back out and get practising! It’s good to reflect on our achievements and triumphs. Which of your journeys have been made you feel triumphant and proud?
